Check in: Directors will check their band in at the Warm-Up field. The Warm-Up field is in Lot #29, located on the north side of the Pan American Center. At check in, director’s will receive their wristbands for their additional staff and band parents. NMSU students will be assigned to each band to act as band guides. They will meet the band at the Warm-Up field.

Warm-Up: Bands will warm up in their assigned area during their designated time at the Warm-Up area located on the north side of the Pan American Center. Event staff will be at the fields to monitor the time and assist bands.

Frontlines can warm up on the west side of the Pan American center if needed.

Trek to Stadium (band only): The NMSU Band Guides will lead the band across the equipment lot (Lot #33) and to the west gates, next to the ticket booth.

Staging Area 2: for the band will be at the top of the tunnel. The band will enter the tunnel area through a gate on the west side of the stadium. The band will be asked to push as close to the fencing as possible to avoid blocking the guest entrance into the stadium. This gate is only big enough for bands to go through at 2 people wide. Once inside the gate, the band can re-group to a larger block if needed.

Staging Area 1: A staging attendant will inform the director and equipment when they may continue down the tunnel towards staging area 1 (towards the field). Bands need to keep the right side of the tunnel to allow for the exiting band’s equipment to leave the field.

When directed, bands will then proceed from the bottom of the tunnel to the field/secondary start location. Rim-taps may be used to enter the field. Equipment will be allowed to set up.

Equipment Flow: Frontline and props will proceed from the equipment truck area and enter the staging areas near the west stadium entrance and follow stadium attendant instructions to move forward into the tunnel. All equipment and props will enter the tunnel using the gate and ramp on the east side of the stadium – this will be separate from the band until Staging Area 1.

Exiting the field: After performing, bands may leave the field to a cadence until the last member of the band is off the lined portion of the field. Bands will exit through the last three stairwells on the northeast side of the stadium and take the concourse NORTH to exit the stadium.

Equipment Exit: Frontline and props must be removed immediately after the performance to the bands designated equipment lot location in Lot #33. The equipment and props will exit the field using the right side of the tunnel to avoid crashing into props and equipment entering the field. It will be moved up the tunnel, back out the gate on the Northeast side and straight out to Lot #33. (Per Tournament Director’s discretion, bands may be allowed to store their props in the stadium/tunnel/staging areas after preliminary performances.)
